Online Training Course: Introduction to the Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities
A few details
This training course was created for mental health professionals and intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) professionals to provide learning opportunities that delve into caring for children with co-occurring disabilities.
Doctors, social workers, and other subject matter experts helped create content for each module. The program was funded by the Jordan Institute for Families via a grant from state of North Carolina.
How I solved it
I built everything into Articulate Rise, a fully responsive tool with the ability to import each module into different systems. This includes UNC-Chapel Hill’s Sakai LMS and the School of Social Work’s Springboard LMS.
