I designed and taught a class on successfully negotiating one’s personal, public, and professional identities online and why it matters. Students created and promoted a contemporary ePortfolio website via WordPress that connected their knowledge to career skills and/or further education.

How I solved it
My approach
The course was a one-credit hybrid course open to Juniors and Seniors. We met synchronously on two consecutive Saturdays and completed online activities throughout the week. The 20 seat class filled within 12 hours of registration opening. Additionally, every student managed to connect through Blackboard’s video chat platform (Collaborate) and attend the first class – which happened during a snowstorm.
