The Project
While graphic artists have previously created many illustrations of the Elements of Art and Principles of Design, I wasn’t able to find a compelling visual for Gude’s (2004) Postmodern Principles to share with a visual arts class. So I made my own.

Specifications
I used Canva.com to create the infographic for free – it’s the same tool my students will be using to create their own multimedia. The medium is the message!
How I solved it
My approach
I summarized Gude’s (2004) explanations of each principle and matched them with free vector elements and icons.
